1. CALL TO ORDER
A Special Meeting of the San Luis Obispo City Council was called to order on
July 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Council Hearing Room, San Luis Obispo, by
Mayor Stewart.
2. PUBLIC COMMENT FOR ITEMS ON THE AGENDA ONLY

3. CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP
3.a CITY COUNCIL MEETING MANAGEMENT (90 MINUTES)
ACTION: The Council discussed how future meetings will be managed
and reviewed the current meeting format. The Council discussed
prioritizing public comment by moving public comment periods sooner in
the process for each agenda item and updating the meeting cover page to
inform the public when staff reports and agenda correspondence is
available.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 1:40 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of the City
Council will be held on August 4, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at
City Hall, 990 Palm Street, San Luis Obispo.
