Subject:Personnel Board Agenda - re Grand Jury Report/Mayor Stewart
To the Personnel Board,
Given all the important and meaningful work that the residents of San Luis Obispo expect are being
addressed by our City Government - especially issues like the affordability and availability of housing, the
ability of businesses to operate and thrive here, and the on-going need to address the challenge of the
unhoused, to hear that there is any amount of time and money being wasted on the matter of the release
of the Grand Jury report and Mayor Erica Stewart's activity in that process last year is extremely
frustrating.
Beyond the fact that this is an unfair and baseless attack on her excellent character, it seems that those
who are intent on bringing this matter back up are deaf to the common complaint that government today
gets nothing meaningful accomplished.
In plain language, please stop this nonsense, clear the mayor, and move on to the real challenges in front
of our community.
