Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (Gov. Code § 7920.000 et seq.), I request copies of
the following records concerning 1861 Hope Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405, Assessor's Parcel
Number 052-231-001:
Permits and applications
1. All building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing permit applications for the parcel from
January 1, 2010 to the present, including any application that was denied, withdrawn,
expired, cancelled, or never issued, together with the disposition of each.
2. All plan check records, plan review comments, correction letters, and resubmittal
correspondence associated with any such application.
3. Complete permit files, including approved plans and inspection records, for permit BLDG-
L26775-2012 ("Alt/Addition Single Family," finaled August 26, 2013) and permit BLDG-
L01061-2-1956 ("New Accessory Building").
4. The complete files for plan records PLOCC-103478-2014 ("Occupancy – Space
Occupancy") and PLOCC-131053-2014 ("Occupancy – Structure Occupancy"), including
what space or structure each approval covered.
The accessory structure
5. All records identifying the number of structures on the parcel and the approved occupancy
classification and permitted use of each, including any detached or accessory structure in the
rear yard.
6. Any certificate of occupancy, final inspection approval, or other City authorization permitting
any structure on the parcel to be occupied for living or sleeping purposes.
7. All records concerning the conversion, or any proposed conversion, of a garage or accessory
structure on the parcel to habitable, sleeping, or residential use — including permit
applications, plan submittals, zoning or occupancy determinations, stop-work orders,
correction notices, and correspondence with the owner or their agents.
8. All Building Division or Community Development correspondence with the property owner or
their agents from January 1, 2015 to the present concerning the legality, permitting, or
occupancy of any structure on the parcel.
Enforcement
9. Any code enforcement, zoning enforcement, or building enforcement record for the parcel
concerning unpermitted construction or unpermitted occupancy, of any date, including
records predating January 2014.
Please provide records in electronic format. If any portion is withheld, please identify the exemption
claimed. If fees will exceed $25, please notify me before proceeding.
