Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I’m writing because I’m concerned about the continued attention surrounding this matter and what
appears to be an ongoing effort by Councilmember Jan Marx to pursue it. Erica made a simple mistake,
has acknowledged it, and, from everything I understand, there was no nefarious intent behind it.
At this point, I believe continuing to pursue the issue is unnecessarily consuming valuable time and
attention from everyone involved. I’m sure the Council has many important matters before it that deserve
that time and focus.
I respectfully ask that the Council move forward and devote its attention to the issues that genuinely
require action. I hope this matter can be put behind us promptly and without further unnecessary
distraction.
Thank you again for your service to our community and for the time you dedicate to addressing the
concerns of its residents. I’m sorry that your time has had to be spent on what I believe has become an
unnecessary issue.
