I am researching the case involving Sosimo Gonzalez De Jesus, who was arrested on October 15, 2024,
following an investigation into the sexual assault of a 13-year-old juvenile in San Luis Obispo, California. I
am requesting body worn camera and/or dashcam footage for the following case:

Incident details:
On September 20, 2024, the San Luis Obispo Police Department received a report of a sexual assault
that had occurred during the early morning hours. According to the investigation, Gonzalez De Jesus
allegedly entered a residence through a window, took a 13-year-old juvenile who was known to him from
her bed, and sexually assaulted her in a bathroom before leaving the property.
San Luis Obispo Police detectives assumed the investigation and later located the suspect by posing as
the victim through a smartphone communications application. Gonzalez De Jesus was taken into
custody without incident on October 15, 2024, at El Chorro Regional Park.
He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on multiple felony charges.
Charges:
• PC 220(b) – Burglary with intent to commit a sexual assault
• PC 269(a)(2) – Rape of a minor under 14
• PC 207(a) – Kidnapping
• PC 288(a) – Lewd acts with a child
• PC 288.2(a)(2) – Sending explicit imagery to a minor (3 counts)
• PC 667.61(d)(4) – Commission of a felony during first-degree burglary
