For context, those who don't know, this was about a week ago but I have been targeted by Cal
Poly fraternity members for over a year. They are angry at my efforts to move illegal fraternity
houses out of the lower density (R-1 & R-2) residential neighborhood and for those in legally
permitted zones (R-3 & R-4) to get conditional use permits as required by the city. I've been
cyberstalked, had accounts opened using my email and phone number on porn sites, received
emails claiming I have an sexually transmitted disease, had ads posted on Craigslist to come to
my home for free stuff, had members of various religious groups visit my home saying I'd
made appointments, had hundreds of calls and texts from car dealerships returning my call to
buy a car, and been doxed online with my full name and untrue statements about me on Cal
Poly subreddit, had my home address posted on YikYak saying there was an early-morning
party there on St. Frattys Day. I have had people related to a fraternity trespass onto my
property and come right up to my bedroom window and say my name which was caught on
video surveillance. I am waiting for the day that a rock is smashed through my window or
worse.

Over the last 20 years, Cal Poly has added 5,250 beds to its housing inventory. In that same time period, enrollment
has increased by 3,990. That’s 1,260 fewer Cal Poly students living off-campus today than in 2003.

I hope that everyone is doing well! Rather than posting an agenda for this upcoming meeting, I
will be canceling the meeting to allow for members to attend the 2024 SLO County Housing
Summit taking place at the same time. A number of members are required or expected to
attend the summit, and so if we were to host a meeting, there is a notable possibility that we
might not meet quorum.
Understanding that this is our last meeting before St. Patrick's day, I want to address this
upcoming event. I will also offer the chance for anyone with concerns to discuss them with me
on a zoom meeting if we can find joint space on our schedules.
There are a number of strategies that ASI and the city has implemented to manage this which I
will share below.
Attached please find the university's safety plan related to St. Patrick's Day. I am waiting
to hear back from the city to determine if they have any additional information. A full
breakdown of St. Patrick's Day will be provided at the April meeting.
Update on recruitment of SCLC positions - ASI is currently in the process of developing
an outreach plan to promote the open positions for SCLC membership in accordance
with the procedures that were approved at the last meeting. It is our hope that we will
have applications to review at the April meeting.
We will see you at the April 18, 2024 meeting.

Dear SCLC members,
I hope that everyone is doing well! Rather than posting an agenda for this upcoming meeting, I
will be canceling the meeting to allow for members to attend the 2024 SLO County Housing
Summit taking place at the same time. A number of members are required or expected to
attend the summit, and so if we were to host a meeting, there is a notable possibility that we
might not meet quorum.
Understanding that this is our last meeting before St. Patrick's day, I want to address this
upcoming event. I will also offer the chance for anyone with concerns to discuss them with me
on a zoom meeting if we can find joint space on our schedules.
There are a number of strategies that ASI and the city has implemented to manage this which I
will share below.
Attached please find the university's safety plan related to St. Patrick's Day. I am waiting
to hear back from the city to determine if they have any additional information. A full
breakdown of St. Patrick's Day will be provided at the April meeting.
Update on recruitment of SCLC positions - ASI is currently in the process of developing
an outreach plan to promote the open positions for SCLC membership in accordance
with the procedures that were approved at the last meeting. It is our hope that we will
have applications to review at the April meeting.
We will see you at the April 18, 2024 meeting.

After speaking with Michelle, we think it is best to implement a proposal process for requests
for funding from the SCLC. This will provide a documented history of funding, and clear
guidelines for accounting to process funding.
I have attached a proposal template; do you think it can be ready for our meeting next week?
If so, I can move some things on the agenda and add the proposal.
I will also get the budget balance for you to add to the proposal. 2024 Invoices will also be
going out this month so that will be additional funding from the budget.
