Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All emails sent or received by Chad Pfarr, Police Lieutenant (cpfarr@slocity.org), to or from any email
address with the domain @verkada.com, for the period January 1, 2025 through the date this request is
processed.
This request includes the full text of each email, all attachments, and all metadata fields available in the
ordinary course of production, including sender, recipient, cc, bcc, date, time, and subject line.
If portions of responsive records are exempt from disclosure, please redact only those portions and
produce all reasonably segregable non-exempt material. If any records are withheld in whole or in part,
please identify each withheld record, the statutory exemption relied upon, and the basis for withholding.
These records will be used in reporting for 404 Media, an independent technology-journalism outlet
(https://www.404media.co/). Please keep this in mind when calculating fees.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being
made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance
of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available
or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your
response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
