RE: Public Records Act Request – Rotational Towing Service Agreement Rate Schedule
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code § 7920.000 et seq.), I am
writing to formally request a copy of the following public records maintained by the San Luis Obispo
Police Department:
1. The current, official "Rotational Towing Service Agreement (TSA) Rate Schedule" or "Master Tow Fee
Schedule" establishing the approved maximum rate caps for Class A (light-duty) standard passenger
vehicles towed within the city limits.
2. The specific city-approved maximum dollar limits allowed for initial towing/hookup, hourly towing
rates, daily storage fees, and after-hours gate/release fees for non-consensual or rotational vehicle
impounds.
If these documents are available in an electronic format (such as a PDF), please email them to me
directly at the email address listed above to expedite the request and save on copying costs.
As mandated by California Government Code § 7922.535, your agency has ten (10) days from the receipt
of this request to determine whether the records are disclosable public documents and to notify me of
that determination.
