To speed up the recheck process, note on this list at the left margin where each correction item has
been addressed in the plans, specification, etc. Be sure to enclose the marked up list when you
submit the revised plans.
Clarify whether any plan revisions, client changes, or significant modifications have been made
to these plans other than those plan review items identified through the city plan review process.
If applicable, include a summary of the additional changes.
General Requirements & Comments
These plans are considered incomplete and additional comments may apply when all minimum
plan information and/or supporting documentation is provided through the plan review process.
1. The Public Works Department plan set used for this review has been marked as “Public
Works Checkprint Copy” and may reference some of the following plan review
comments. Return the plan set marked “Public Works Checkprint Copy” with your
resubmittal.
2. All mitigation measures, conditions, and/or code requirements that are part of the
planning approvals shall be considered part of this correction list whether or not
reiterated herein.
3. The architect, landscape architect, surveyor, and/or engineer of record shall stamp and
sign all plan sheets prior to permit issuance.
4. Show and note that the existing water meter vault located within the parkway shall be
upgraded by adding a concrete collar in accordance with Engineering Standard #6210.
5. Provide an update and/or final review letter from the soils engineer stating that the
building plans have been reviewed and have been found to be in general conformance
with recommendations in the report. Any soils engineer special inspection notes and

the special inspection program shall be approved to the satisfaction of the Building
Official.
6. Update the drainage calculations with the new design for lot 7.
7. Sign and stamp the drainage calculations.
8. A Water Pollution Control Plan (WPCP) shall be summarized and submitted on a form
provided by the Building Division.
9. Municipal Code Chapter 12.24.090 requires the planting of street trees as a condition of
building permits. Add a note to the site plan that “One 15-gallon street tree may be
required for each 35 lineal feet of frontage. Contact the City Arborist at 781-7023 for
specific questions or requirements and to evaluate any existing street trees.”
10. The building permit application shall include a final drainage report. The current
report includes both Lot 6 (active building permit application) and this Lot 7. The final
report shall consider the final drainage strategy proposed for both lots. If Lot 7
proceeds before Lot 6, a separate and distinct drainage report may be required.
11. Address additional redlines on plans.
