Subject:San Luis Ambulance
Dear Honorable City of San Luis Obispo Council Members,
When you are debating the feasibility of replacing San Luis Ambulance emergency transport services, please take into
consideration the following:
1. San Luis Ambulance is a family owned business. This is important to consider during a time when people are resentful
towards large corporate companies and/or governmental take overs of services.
2. San Luis Ambulance has provided loyal service to San Luis Obispo cities for 80 years.
3. San Luis Ambulance has always had expedient response times, professional staff and able to respond to any type of
call for service.
4. San Luis Ambulance has always given back to the communities in which they serve.
5. Please also consider the cost benefit analysis to a service that is already competent, established and able.
I am a current 29 year law enforcement officer, previously employed with the City of San Luis Obispo Police
Department. I have witnessed firsthand San Luis Ambulance's responses during critical emergency incidents. While I
appreciate the need to always be prepared for future incidents, I question the motivation behind the timing of this topic.
Again, San Luis Ambulance has been a reliable emergency transport company in this community for 80 years. Always
loyal with no controversy.
