(Continued from 1/23/96.) • RECOMMENDATION: By motion, provide direction to staff relative to potential revisions to the following policies contained within the W.M.E.: (1) 9.1.A. - Two-to-One Retrofit Requirement; (2) 8.3 - Intensification and Infill Reserve; (3) 8.4 and 12.3-5 - Accounting for Reclaimed Water; and, (4) 8.5, 9.1.B. & 11.1 - Use of Private Wells. 2. NACIMIENTO WATER SUPPLY PROJECT (MOSS/517 - 60 min.) Consideration of the Nacimiento Water Supply Project alternatives involving water exchanges and wheeling. • RECOMMENDATION: By motion, provide direction to staff regarding water supply alternatives. Vice Mayor Williams said that she had attended yesterday's meeting of the Homeless Services Center Committee and that the project is moving along as fast as it can. Topics included public transportation for participants, obtaining liability insurance for volunteer laborers and the People's Kitchen search for an interim site. L.R.2. Vice Mayor Williams reported on today's BIA Board meeting and said that Neil Havlik and Jeff Hook had both made presentations to the board. L.R.3. Vice Mayor Romero said that the County Water Resources Advisory Committee would soon be presenting a draft report on groundwater yield to the Board of Supervisors. (Continued from 1/23/96.) * RECOMMENDATION: By motion, provide direction to staff relative to potential revisions to the following policies contained within the W.M.E.: (1) 9.1.A. - Two-to-One Retrofit Requirement; (2) 8.3 - Intensification and Infill Reserve; (3) 8.4 and 12.3-5 - Accounting for Reclaimed Water; and, (4) 8.5, 9.1.B. & 11.1 - Use of Private Wells. FINAL ACTION. Staff directed to: (1) develop 1-1 retrofit (3-2, ASXBR-no)' (2) allocate 50% of reserve to accommodate new development(3-2, ASIBR-no); (3) support recommended revision to policy regarding Reclaimed Water, and (4) endorse staff recommendation regarding the use of private wells (4-1; DR-no). All policy revisions will be returned to the Planning Commission and City Council for public hearings. P.G.& E request for fire suppression services referred back to staff for the purposes of studying annexation, but exception to City policy regarding providing services outside City limits not supported. 2. NACIMIENTO WATER SUPPLY PROJECT (MOSS/517 - 60 min.) Consideration of the Nacimiento Water Supply Project alternatives involving water exchanges and wheeling. * RECOMMENDATION: By motion, provide direction to staff regarding water supply alternatives. FINAL ACTION. Water exchange to Cayucos area supported as long as it is favor-able to the City of San Luis Obispo (4-1; BR-no); water wheeling to areas south of the City not supported-, (5- 0). A.
