MTG City of San lUI S OBI SPO rMM NUMB 9!0 COUNCIL AGEND^ REPORT FROM: Vice Mayor Dodie Williams and Council Member Bill Roal`fan Council Subcommittee to the Parks & Recreation Commission PREPARED BY: Sherry Stendahl, Council Secretary SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: By motion, thank Gregory Macedo and Jerry Emery for their service to the Parks & Recreation Commission and appoint the following: Sally Stoner Three year term to expire 3/31/99 (reappointment) James Neville One year term to expire 3/31/97 Debbie Black Four year term to expire 3/31/2000 BACKGROUND: Three terms will expire on 3/31/96: Chair Gregory Macedo (who has served the maximum eight years), Jerry Emery (who is moving to Minnesota) and Sally Stoner. After advertising for applicants and conducting interviews, the Council Subcommittee is pleased to recommend Sally Stoner, James Neville and Debbie Black for appointment. Copies of their applications are attached. All others are available for review with the Council Secretary. Assessing individual needs, determining appropriate objectives, developing activities to meet objectives, and conducting various forms of group and individual therapy. Participating in treatment team conferences regarding rehabilitative needs of the of the patient. Working with student interns as needed. Rehabilitation Therapy Service Chair - Atascadero State Hospital 1/89 - 1/91 Call, preside at, and be responsible for agenda of all general service meetings. Work cooperatively with the Chief of the Service to insure compliance with service rules and regulations and standard of practice for all service members. Serve as ex-officio member of all service committees. Review all request for special peer reviews with the Chief of the Service to determine need for further formal action, co-chair the Service Advisory Council.
