Gilbert Hoffman for their years of service, and appoint one nominee (to be named) to a four year appointment to expire 3/31/2000, and one nominee (to be named) to a three year appointment to expire 3/31/99. BACKGROUND: Two terms will expire on 3/31/96. Mr. Cross and Mr. Hoffman do not wish to be reappointed. After advertising and interviewing some 18 candidates, the Council Subcommittee has chosen to submit individual recommendations to the Council. Council Policies & Procedures state that, "If a unanimous decision for recommendation cannot be reached,the Council shall take a separate motion for each candidate proposed by each member of the Council Liaison Subcommittee." • Vice Mayor Williams' appointment recommendations are as follows: James Kilmer to a three year term to expire 3/31/99 David Jeffrey to a four year term to expire 3/31/2000 • Council Member Roalman's appointment recommendations are as follows: Craig Anderson to a three year term to expire 3/31/99 Pat Veesart to a four year term to expire 3/31/2000 Copies of recommended candidate applications are attached.
