DISCUSSION
In June of 1992, six City water tanks were inspected on the interior and exterior by consultant.
This inspection included a special procedure that involved an underwater diver who evaluated the
interior condition of the tanks. A set of photos that document the dive and a report giving
observations and recommendations for each tank was compiled and presented to staff. Repairs
were recommended for all of the tanks that were reviewed. On December 6, 1994 repairs for
three of the tanks were completed. This project represents a continuation of the repairs that were
recommended from the dive on June of 1992. A cathodic protection system has been included.
