Issues associated with the creek include: interaction with the public; erosion; habitat preservation; and flood handling capacity. The City Council has requested a walking tour of the creek to begin at Mission Plaza and end at Bianchi Lane, to become more familiar with this section of the creek. During the tour the Council will observe remnants of erosion caused by the 1995 storms, the site of the future Mission Plaza expansion, the condition of the Marsh Street Bridge, and general streambed and creek bank conditions.
