We would very much appreciate the Mayor reading the attached public announcement script as a Communications Item at the Council Meeting tonight. The segment being shown on Wednesday, September 18th, is on water recycling and features the City's Water Reclamation Facility and several City staff members. To the water recycler, of course. Tune into Television to Inform the Public, TIP,this week to hear local experts discuss water recycling or reclamation, and go on a video tour of a water treatment plant. It's a great way to celebrate Pollution Prevention Week. TIP is a new four-part series for government access cable TV,hosted by Dave Congalton, which is airing Wednesdays and Saturdays in September at 7:00 pm on Channel 6 (Sonic and Falcon cable) and on Channel 10 in San Simeon. TIP, Television to Inform the Public, is produced by the Government Task Force of the San Luis Obispo County Consortium for Community Media. Please remember to watch, or set your video recorders to tape, TIP segments on Wednesday and Saturday nights at 7:00 pm during the month of September.
