SUBJECT: FINAL PASSAGE OF ORDINANCE NO. 1337 ADOPTING ZONING
FOR THE FULLER ROAD AREA ANNEXATION
CAO RECOMN ENDATION
Grant final passage to Ordinance No. 1337.
DISCUSSION
On May 5, 1998, the Council voted 4-1 (Council Member Roalman voting no) to introduce
Ordinance No. 1337 to print adopting the zoning for the Fuller Road annexation area. Ordinance
No. 1337 is now ready for final passage and will become effective thirty days after the date of its
final passage.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN LUIS OBISPO ADOPTING ZONING FOR THE
FULLER ROAD AREA ANNEXATION(R 70-97)
WHEREAS, the City Council conducted a public hearing on March 17, 1998, and has
considered testimony of interested parties, the records of the Planning Commission hearing and
action, and the evaluation and recommendation of staff; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a Negative Declaration of environmental
impact, by Resolution No. 1. .
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of San Luis Obispo as follows:
SECTION 1. Findinas. That this Council, after consideration of the proposed zoning,
and the Planning Commission's recommendations, staff recommendations,public testimony, and
reports thereon,makes the following findings:
A. The proposed zones are consistent with the General Plan.
B. The proposed zones are consistent with the intended uses and locations of the zones as
described in the Zoning Regulations.
C. The proposed zones will be compatible with surrounding land uses.
SECTION 2. Adoption of Zones. The Fuller Road area annexation shall be zoned as
shown on the attached Exhibit A.
SECTION 3. A summary of this ordinance, together with the names of Council members
voting for and against, shall be published at least five (5) days prior to its final passage, in the
Telegram-Tribune, a newspaper published and circulated in this City. This ordinance shall go
into effect at the expiration of thirty (30) days after its final passage, but no sooner than the
effective date of the Fuller Road area annexation.

Obispo at its meeting held on the 5th= day of May . 1998,on a motion of
