SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATION TO THE
JACK HOUSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
RECOMMENDATION
Appoint Martha Schwartz to the Jack House Advisory Committee, and thank Marion Sinsheimer
for her service.
DISCUSSION
A vacancy exists due to the retirement of Marion Sinsheimer, member of the Jack House
Advisory Committee since 1981.
Martha Schwartz, a longtime volunteer at the Jack House, has submitted her application for
appointment. Because of her many years of service as the Jack House Docent Chair, she would
make an excellent member of the Jack House Advisory Committee. It is, therefore, my pleasure
to recommend her for appointment. Mrs. Schwartz' application is attached.
In view of the fact that Martha Schwartz is related to Council Member Ken Schwartz, Chair to
the Council Subcommittee for the Jack House Advisory Committee, he has not participated in
this appointment process.
