Additional cost: $335 per month.) DISCUSSION Because Parks and Recreation Department has made some programming changes at the Recreation Center, the following three areas of that building now require janitorial service effective May 1, 2000: Sq. Ft. Craft Room 816 Backstage Room 704 Attendant Office 240 1,760 Public Works has negotiated the attached amendment to the existing contract with Pacific Coast Building Maintenance. This amendment will add the three rooms at the Recreation Center for the remainder of the contract term, which will expire on June 30, 2001. FISCAL IMPACT Monthly Cost for Existing Service at the Recreation Center $1,112 Monthly Cost for Additional Service at the Recreation Center 335 New Monthly Cost for Service at the Recreation Center $1,447 Public Works will cover the additional monthly cost out of existing budget resources and will submit a significant operating program change request to cover the additional cost for 2000-01. ATTACI[IENT: Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement to Furnish Janitorial Maintenance Services under Specification 9737 Janitorial Service Adjustments A C6-1 Amendment No.2 to the Agreement to Furnish Janitorial Maintenance Services under Specification 9737 The agreement dated May 20, 1997 between the City of San Luis Obispo and Pacific Coast Building Maintenance to furnish janitorial maintenance services under Specification 9737 shall be amended as follows: 1. The craft room, backstage room, and attendant office at the City's Recreation Center shall be added as an additional work location. 2. The additional monthly price for work on the craft room, backstage room, and attendant office shall be$335, and the total monthly price for work at the Recreation Center shall be$1,447 per month. 3. Work on the craft room, backstage room, and attendant office shall be performed according to the existing task and frequency list for the Recreation Center. 4. All other terms and conditions of the agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
