Mike Melvin, SLO resident of 25 years, left a voice mail stating John Ashbaugh has been a close, personal
friend and business associate for many years. He stated that John has always conducted himself with a lot of
integrity and is always willing to help those around him. He further went on to say that he's not sure if the
Brown Act, in it's true meaning, should be used for something like this; making a mountain out of a
molehill. He concluded that he lends his full support of Council Member Ashbaugh and thinks the City need to
take a minimal amount of action, if any, against him. He said the City needs to put it behind us and move on.
