Hello again Mayor Marx and Councilmembers, Scott Talmage owner /operator of FETCH Cart Services. Congratulations for getting through another election cycle and thank you for the work you put into the election to serve the City of San Luis Obispo with your public service. I hope you all received the information packet I put together for each council member and that it contained enough information that you requested to cause each one of you to want to look further into the topic of the City getting some control of the issue of abandoned shopping carts through adopting an ordinance pertaining to shopping carts that have been taken off of the Store's property. I am sending this e-mail to you to inquire what the next step is and if it will be addressed in a future City Council Meeting. I have been contacted by a few people that were attending the meeting that I made my public comment address at and they are wanting to know if anything has been decided. Thank you for your time and instructions on how to present an idea to the City Council. It has been kind of intimidating but also fun to participate in a matter considering public service. Sincerely, Scott Talmage SLO CITY CLERK
