Dear City Council,
I am writing as the neighbor to the Pacific Courtyards project.
My home is an 1860 home that is in front of the project- 1335 Morro Street.
I am travelling with the children on this long w /end so I am unable to attend- but I would like to let you
know that I approve of the project- I am excited and feel lucky that I have a developer that cares about
esthetics doing this project- if you ask me I preferred the original version of the project and I still like the
current version- it works in accordance of the neighborhood with the residential on our beautiful bike
lane street and the commercial on the Osos street area. I love that the garages are not visible from the
street and that we will be approaching a front door and a "mews like feel' which is calm and intimate to
the individual homes from the Morro street side, I would love to see a coble like driveway to the 3
houses garages....to accentuate this intimate peaceful feel. I am concerned about loosing the beautiful
trees as I feel San Luis Obispo is the jewel that it is due to the trees but I have been assured that these
will be more than replaced with more reliable less brittle more native trees to the Eucalyptus.
Anyway, just count my vote in as all thumbs up on this project as I love the style and architectural
contribution that these developers bring to San Luis Obsipo- I appreciate that to make SLO beautiful we
need to step out of our comfort zone a little and follow so many great example of exciting and vibrant
tones and architecture.
Thank you.
