What happened with Dairy Creek Golf Course's concessionaire? The County of San Luis Obispo manages three -18 hole golf courses in the County including Dairy Creek. County staff (which includes a Golf Course manager for these operations) performs all maintenance activities at these courses and contracts out the programming. As reported in the newspaper, the Dairy Creek the concessionaire gave one day's notice to the County and self - terminated the contract. The County provided workers from other facilities to cover course program operations until a new concession agreement could be entered into. In discussions with County staff, due to its size and nature of operations, concessionaires at many of its major recreational facilities has been the appropriate model for the County.
