So who's paying for this short fall in water revenues? I hope it's not being spread around to all of us conscientious water conserver's. We've been in a drought situation for the past several years they had ample opportunity to replace their plants or go out to the spring outlet on Prado Road to get extra free water like all those from the county do. How many other kickbacks have been given these illustrious few? I would like to know how I can apply for my adjustment and where I can get a list of the 300 who benefited from this kickback to make sure there was no cronyism or corruption in selecting the lucky few out of 15,000 customers. As far as privatizing the meter readers it sounds like it is a management problem at the Utility's Department. Perhaps if we got rid of some of the top heavy managers we could spare the extra twenty grand to keep local city workers on the job.
