You are headlong rushing into a very bad development for the citizens of this city without due consideration. if you believe you are representing the citizens, why don't you put the Grossman plan to another vote, see how many folks want you to make it impossible to ever drive on Madonna or LOVR during the day again. This scheme of yours and the city staff is so short sighted to gain property tax revenues, you are indebiting the citizens for freeway and roadway improvements associated with this property that we do not wish to be paying for. The above doesn't take into account the foolishness of an airport runway so close to housing development of this location and density. WE ARE NOT Los Angeles, we do not want sprawl! We moved here to avoid just that which you are planning without a vote of the people. The final insult to the citizens of this city is for a newly elected, just tonight installed city councilman participating in this vote. i guarantee you that the 3 of you would NOT have allowed any other newly elected and newly installed councilman to vote tonight, as they might/could disagree with you. No matter how much you want Mr. Rivoire to vote on this issue, he is simply not well enough informed to make this critical decision without the background knowledge he should have. He needs time to come up to speed. Please vote No, and please do not let Mr. Rivoire to even vote this issue tonight. dia hurd slo
