Dear Mayor Marx and Council Members,
Protect Scenic 101 urges your consideration of whether the potential City greenbelt acquisition, for which an appraisal is
being considered, includes locations of the several associated billboards? If so, the acquisition would represent an
important opportunity for billboard retirement, in conformance with the City's General Plan which favors eliminating
billboards in approaches to the City. Billboards would no longer impair the open space valued by residents and sought
by visitors.
