Promotional Coordinating Committee (PCC)
1. Please explain why you would like to serve on the Promotional Coordinating
Committee.
It is very important to me to stay involved in the community. I believe in giving
my volunteer time and efforts to the community where I live and work. The PCC
seems an excellent fit with my marketing background and expertise. I also have
an interest in public service that stems from my master's degree in public
administration.
2. Have you ever attended a PCC meeting or a meeting of any other City
advisory body? What observations did you make?
I have not attended an advisory committee meeting but I have attended many City
Council meetings.
3. What unique qualities, experience and expertise would you bring to the
PCC?
My volunteer experience in a leadership capacity on many non-profit boards
provides me with a unique perspective on how best to work collaboratively and
achieve consensus. My 20 years plus experience in the marketing field as well as
teaching marketing at Cal Poly will be a natural asset to the PCC.
4. Is there any other additional information about yourself you'd like to share?
(Please feel free to at attach a resume, if you have one).
It would be a great privilege to serve my community on the PCC. I truly enjoy
my chosen profession and I would be honored to share my knowledge and
experience towards the successful marketing of our beautiful city.
