DISCUSSION A vacancy exists on the Parks and Recreation Commission due to the resignation of Alan Thomas (term expires 3/31/07). After advertising and interviewing, the Council Subcommittee for the Parks and Recreation Commission is pleased to recommend the appointment of Ty Griffin to fill an unexpired term beginning October 1, 2003 and expiring on March 31, 2007.
