EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COST RECOVERY STUDY SESSION. (KNABE —2 HOURS) RECOMMENDATION: 1. Receive information on the City's current Emergency Medical Service (EMS) system and alternatives to the current system. 2. Give staff direction as to which alternatives to pursue, with a focus on the goals of a dedicated City ambulance and higher emergency medical services cost recovery.. ACTION: Information received. Staff was directed to pursue alternatives that include a designated ambulance for the City and higher emergency medical services cost recovery(5:0).
