completing a speaker slip and giving it to the City Clerk prior to the meeting. The Mayor will invite public comments before
the Council takes action on each item. (Gov.Code Sec.54954.3(a)) Your speaking time is limited to three(3)minutes.

STUDY SESSION
1. EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES COST RECOVERY STUDY SESSION.
(KNABE —2 HOURS)
RECOMMENDATION: 1. Receive information on the City's current Emergency
Medical Service (EMS) system and alternatives to the current system. 2. Give staff
direction as to which alternatives to pursue, with a focus on the goals of a dedicated
City ambulance and higher emergency medical services cost recovery..
ACTION: Information received. Staff was directed to pursue alternatives that
include a designated ambulance for the City and higher emergency medical
services cost recovery(5:0).
