SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON THE JOINT USE OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES (JUC) RECOMMENDATION 1. Reappoint Rick May to serve a two-year term beginning on April 1, 2005 and expiring on March 31, 2007. 2. Appoint Terry Conner to serve a four-year term beginning on April 1, 2005 and expiring on March 31, 2009. DISCUSSION Two vacancies exist on the JUC. Rick May's term expires on March 31, 2005. He has reapplied and is eligible to serve a two-year term. Lang Smyth's term expires on March 31, 2005. He is not eligible to reapply for this committee. The Council Subcommittee interviewed three applicants on February 25, 2005 and is pleased to recommend the reappointment of Rick May for a two-year term and appointing Terry Conner for a four-year term.
