With the three partners' contributions remaining at prior projected levels, the budget is balanced, and provides for appropriate distribution of funds to both the operating budget reserve and the major equipment replacement reserve. • Approval of the Facilities Subcommittee's recommendation to: 1) Allocate $70,000 to replace the fire alarm system,as required by the State Fire Marshal; 2) Advance $110,000 from the Repair and Replacement schedule to purchase a new type of seats for the gallery level, so that the old seats can be used as spare parts for the remaining seats. (The manufacturer of the current seats is no longer in business and parts are unavailable.) 3) Set priorities for touching up building paint finishes.. • Approval of the 2005-06 event schedule Other reported items of interest include: • An update on the acoustic improvements scheduled for this summer. • A report on a visit to Gloucester, MA to see the manufacturer of the organ being donated to the PAC by Bert and Candy Forbes. The organ will be installed in the summer of 2006 and will then require almost a year of tuning and "voicing". • Initial plans for the PAC's 10`h Anniversary Celebration, scheduled to occur between September 22 and October 1, 2006.
