If Council concurs, the motion should reflect that these revisions will be made. Auoust_16,2005 Page C1-6 = Added following clarifying comment after the motion on the Tree Committee recommendation: Council Member Settle and Mayor Romer_o opposed the motion on the basis that the trees should not be removed at all. Page C1-6 - Added a reference to San Luis Creek under Mr. Brown's comments. Brad Brown, San Luis Obispo, complimented Council on the addition of the bike lane on Pismo Street and the City's work on San Luis Creek GFeek-prior to the rains. Page C1-9 - Revised the last sentence of the motion to clarify what was meant by the "20= foot driveways." She also opposed the Plan,because it will be growth-inducing, will add to the jobs/housing imbalance, and the County will continue to build on the City's borders. Page C1-13 -Amended Council Member Mulholl.and's comments as follows: Council Member Mulholland expressed concern regarding the height of the buildings, overloading the narrow streets and infrastructure, increased traffic and the possible loss of the uniqueness ofthe downtown as new projects are developed She said that there is a need for a cumulative impact study of the downtown as well as an environmental impact report. She discussed the value of going out to bid on this property. She said she doesn't think a three-story parking-lolara -e should be in the middle of the downtown core 4'0�' Page C1-17 -The following paragraph wa.s clarified by adding the word "future" prior to "development plans:" Pamela jardini, Planning Solutions and representing Dan Duval A9,9s,4, and Carol Florence, representing Congregation Beth-David, said thereate no future development plans on these properties, but they wanted this area to be included.
