Appoint Kathryn Howard to serve an unexpired term as the Member-At-Large on the MTC to begin January 11, 2006,.and end on March 31, 2007. 2. Appoint Emily Avery to serve an unexpired term as the Student Representative on the MTC to begin January 11, 2006, and end on March 31, 2007. DISCUSSION There are two vacancies on the Mass Transportation Committee: Member-At-Large and Student Representative. After advertising, the Council Subcommittee interviewed three applicants and is pleased to recommend the appointment of Kathryne Howard as the Member-At=Large,.and the appointment of Emily Avery as the Student Representative. Due to the difficulty of recruiting for the Student Representative and the fact that the Mass Transportation Committee meets quarterly, the Council Subcommittee agreed to extend the Student Representative's term to March 31, 2007.
