Subject: PAC Commission meeting of April 27, 2006
The Commission met Thursday, April 27`". They discussed the upcoming budget which anticipates a
3%increase in SLO's share of operating costs at a figure of$235,026. The Commission is also
attempting to bring operating reserves from its current level of 10.2% to a 15% goal.
The Commission anticipates making the final payment on the Heritage Oaks loan, which was take out
ten years ago when original constructs bids came in substantially higher than available funds.
The big project for the coming year will be the installation and tuning of the organ. Tuning will
require 56 hours per week for many months during the 06-07 calendar year, requiring special
calendaring of events.
The Ball celebrating the ten-year anniversary will be held Saturday, August 26`h, from 7 p.m. to
midnight and will feature a number of entertainers. There will be, a"Family Day"on Sunday, August
27`h, and a number of celebration activities during the month of September. Please set your calendar
for the PAC Ball.
