SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT TO THE JOINT USE OF RECREATIONAL
FACILITIES COMMITTEE (JUC)
RECOMMENDATION
As recommended by Council Subcommittee Member Allen Settle appoint David Robbins to the
Joint Use of Recreational Facilities Committee (JUC) effective December 7, 2010, and expiring
March 31, 2014.
DISCUSSION
Due to the resignation Stephen Cairns on September 21, 2010, there is a vacancy on the JUC.
Staff advertised for the vacant positions in accordance with statutory requirements and one
application was received.
Council Liaison Subcommittee Member Allen Settle conducted the interview with Mr. Robbins
on November 18, 2010. Following the interview Mr. Settle recommended the appointment of
Mr. Robbins.
