FROM: Councilman Reiss and Mayor Dunin
SUBJ: PERSONNEL BOARD APPOINTMENT
The Council Subcommittee (Reiss/Dunin) to the Personnel Board and
Vice-Chair Ted Wheeler interviewed three applicants on January 16, 1989,
to fill the vacancy created by James Buttery's resignation. The Council
Subcommittee unanimously recommends the appointment of Charles Adoff to
fill this term which will expire on March 31, 1989. Given the short
duration of this term, we are recommending that Mr. Adoff be reappointed
for a three-year term to expire on March 31, 1992.
We would also like to recommend the reappointment of Martha Reed and Barry
Whelchel whose terms will expire on March 31, 1989, to three-year terms to
expire on March 31, 1992.
Copies of the recommended apointees' applications are attached. All other
applications are available in the Council Office for inspection. Please
contact one of the Subcommittee members if you need additional
information.
