I fully realize we. have a Growth Management ordinance, but it really only applies to multi-family residential. This application is not working. Under "Communications," Councilwoman Rappa is requesting Council consideration of placing a measure on the November ballot concerning Growth Management. As you know, no action can be taken under "Communications" except to direct staff to come back with a report. If you wish to consider this issue further, please direct staff to bring this back to Council no later than July 18 for final action in order to meet timely filing of arguments and rebuttal arguments. c: J. Monday, July 31: City Attorney's impartial analysis of measures to be filed with the City Clerk (not to exceed 500 words-E.C. 5011) . Monday_, July 31: Last day to file arguments for or against city measures with the City Clerk (E.C. 5015) . Arguments may be changed or withdrawn by their proponents until 5:00 p.m. , Monday, July 31 , 1989. Tuesday, August 1 - Public review of arguments (E.C. 5025) . Thursday, August 10: Tuesday, August l: First day to file rebuttal arguments for or \ against city measures with the City Clerk (not to exceed 250 words) . Thursday, August 10: Last day to file rebuttal arguments for or against city measures with the City Clerk (E.C. 5014.5) . Friday. August it - Public review of argument rebuttals and Monday, August 21: impartial analyses (E.C. 5025) . Friday, August 11: Last day to file nomination papers with City 5:00 p.m• Clerk (E.C. 23302.5) . Note: If any incumbent elective officer does not file for election. the nomination period will be extended for all persons except the incumbents to Wednesday, August 16, 1989 (E.C. 22840.5) .
