SUBJECT: Review of Planning Commission Bylaws
On June 2, 2015, the City Council will review all the Advisory Body Bylaws and
approve any changes through a Resolution. The Advisory Body Handbook will
then be updated as necessary.
Since 2008, there have been two revisions to the Planning Commission Bylaws.
On November 18, 2008, the City Council approved a revision to all the Advisory
Body Bylaws (with a few exceptions) to require City residency of Advisory Body
members. On August 17, 2010, the Planning Commission Bylaws were
amended to designate a meeting start time of 6:00 p.m.
There are no proposed changes at this time to the Bylaws. The Commission
should review the Bylaws and offer any desired updates to staff to carry forward
for Council consideration.
