Every form of information concludes that the use and misuse of Expanded Polystyrene is harmful to our environment, wildlife and our health. It is actually inconceivable how the manufacturing community duped the American population by creating this noxious and poisonous EPS into a food serving product for the past 30 years. Now, it has become so normal and acceptable container that some can't fathom a world without it. Each citizen in SLO needs to be responsible to take care of our city, rivers that lead to the ocean and beaches. The elimination of EPS is one simple way, and unfortunately it takes a government ordinance to get people to comply. Finally, we will all be healthier and one more step towards a greener environment. Sincerely, Janine Rands San Luis Obispo Janine Rands San Luis Obispo
