Some business may claim that using alternative products is too expensive, ie. a hardship. If you looked at the expense sheet of any business, even restaurants or sellers of styrofoam products, you would find that the extra cost would be a small percentage of their costs of doing business in the City. I hope that some public opposition won't alter your commitment to follow through with the regulations that will make the ban the Council approved a reality. Judith Bernstein Arroyo Grande, CA.
