I share your concern. I am including our city clerk in this response, so that your email is posted on our website as agenda correspondence for tonight's city council meeting, which includes increasing the police department budget. From the Tribune, "44 reported cases were higher than any year in the past decade and three times the national average ". This is under YOUR leadership with a city manager that you hired, a police chief that you approved, and a Cal Poly president that you indorse. What are you going to do to turn this around ? ? ? ?? In our town my wife now refuses to use public restrooms unless I am standing right outside of the door, this is shameful. And by the way, please, please have the police start enforcing the basic laws of the road on the bicyclists in the downtown area. I look forward to your reply, William J. Kelley
