The following resolution was offered by J.C. Hill ,`and moved for its
adoption, seconded by A. Luchessa,
Resolved,•that we do hereby wxpress to the retiring Mayor, A.McAlister,
and to the the retiring Councilmen, P A.H. Arai., and Geo. Hansen our esteem
and appreciation of their loyal and unselfish ddvotion to the business of the
City and the capable and fearless manner in which they have:met the - problems
which have confronted the City in the past two years; that we do hereby tender
to them our thanks and best wishes. Motion carried by then following vote.
Ayes: A. Luchessa, J.C. Hill, Geo. H. Andrews, Dick Sanders. Iaoes: None,
Absent: Done.
On motion duly seconded Council adjourns.

Minutes of thr preceding meetings read, and on notion of A. Luchessa,
seconded by Geo. H. Andrews were adopted by the following vote. Aves: A.
Luchessa, Geo. H. Andrews, Dick Sanders, Noes: none, Absent: J. C. Hill.°
Petition of Oliver Finney et al, asking that George Street be graded
as an outlet to the residents of Terrace Hill.
Moved by Geo. H. Andrews, seconded by Dick Sanders that the'Commissioner
of Public Uorks investigate the matter, atd make an estimate of the cost of
grading said Street to proper grade. Motion carried and so ordered
Application for Building Permits were read as follows.
