Application for sidewalks were read as follows:
R. E. Jack, Block 62- 225 feet cement etirbirng and repair
bitumen sidewalk.
I\T. Schlicht , Block 62 110 feet cement curbing.
A. McAlister - Block lo-.60 feet cement side -walk
Moved by J. C. Hill seconded by Geo. H. Andrews
that the foregoing applications be geanted.
Motion carried and so ordered.
Moved by Geo. E. Andrews seooneded by J. C. Hill
that the Council adjourn to meet Wednesday, Oct 21st.,
1914 at 7,30 o'clock P.Ii.

Abscence of Hr. Norton.
Ordinance in the matter of regulating Fire Proof Buildings,
which was ordered drafted was submitted by the City Attorney.
Moved by Dick Sanders, seconded by Geo. H. Andrews that the
sass be submitted to the local Board of Fire Underwriters for
thier approval. Motion carried.
Moved by Dick Sanders, seconded by Geo. H. Andrews that
the City Engineer be employed to prepare Fiat Books -for the
use of the City Assessor, and to receive a salary of $125.00
per month as compensation for dame. Motion carried by the
