Gas tests were read from May 15thf to May 31st., the report of tests
was very satisfactory to the Board. The smoke and soot nuisance was discuss: -
ed by all members of the Board,
Street Superintendedt song reported that he had interviewed Mr Green-

Communication from the Hoard of Supervisors read in re- boarding Oity

JJK:Goulding, Chairman fourth of July celebration Committee, petit-
ions the Board to grant privilege to rope off certain streets on the evenings
of duly 3rd and 5th, from 7:30 P.M. tolO OO .P.M.,for street dances. Moved
by H.A.Gowman and seconded by GeO.H.Andrewe that permission be granted. A
tab vote was as follows, H.A,Gowman ,yes, GeoH.Andrews, Yes, L,F.Sinsheimer,
No: Dick Sanders, No. Discussion. The deciding vote by W.M.Stover was
favorable. Permission granted, Committee thanked the Board.

missioner, his discision to receive the sanction of the Board*

Masers Marrgy and Merrifield asks that the City Attorney, City
Engineer and Commissioner of Public Works to meet with them and discuss mat-
ter in re side -walk at their property.
The matter of general use of fireworks on the Fourth of duly,
C the Board decided that fire works of no discription be allowed on the

Mayor Stover stated that there was a vendor of fumniture and rugs
in.town, claiming to be a permanent resident. Cheif of Police was directed
to see the party and insist thatb he should have.proper license:
