Attorney. Communication from California Conference on City Planning, in
re- Proposition Ido. 8 to be voted on Oct. 26th. same recieved too,late
for Council to take up.
Resignation of E ;W& *Lawrrence "s.- Police Judge read. It was moved by
Come Gowman and seconded by Come Andrews thg�the resignation of Mr Lawrence

Ordinance No. 51 ( New Series) dn-re- special election was pre-
sented and head. Same to lay over until Monday night Oct.25th.
The matter of the new Jail was laid over for more time. The matter
of purchase of.property for sewer farm was also laid over for more time.
The City Clerk was instructed to send telegram to Mr W.F,Wood ask-
ing -

ing that he extend option on land from she 25th to the 28th.
Petition was received from Chamber of Commerce signed by citizens
and taxpayers for revision of present City Charter. Moved by Com. Sinshe-
imer and seconded by Com. Sanders that the petition be laid on table. Car-
ried.
It was moved by Com. Sanders and seconded by Com. Andrews that the
applicatioii:C.A.Younglove and Mrs Nellie Dela Rosa for lodging house
licenses be granted.
The application of Mrs Dee Chapin and Mrs 011ie Hayes for lodging
house license Tas 1 aid over'for proper investigation.

Mrs,-Harries, Mrs Harper in re- lodging house license, they being out of
town. Mrs Walker and Pairs Mitchell stated that they could not afford to
pay license for their roomers. Mrs Ypunglove and Mrs Chapin stated that
tey would apply.
It was moved by Com. Gowman and seconed by Com.Sanders that the ap-
plication for license of Daisy DeSaisett and E.D. Hendershot be granted.
Carried.

claim of Goldtree Mater System 50.06,be granted, carried.
It was moved by CoM. Sanders and seconed by Com. Gowman that the trans -
