City Hall, Monday Dec.27th.,1915.
Adjourned session of City Council called 't(b order by Como Geo.H.Andrec:s. Roll Call:
Present ,Councilmen Dick Sanders; H.A.Gowman; L.F.Sinsheimer and Geo.H.Andrews.
Absent : Layor Stover.
The report -of the Com.of Finance and Revenue was that,the petition of Aaron Green
and Alex Galewsky in re double assessment on lot 7 and all that part of lot 8 fronting on
Broad St, in Block 91 amounting to 24.36 was justifiable. It was moved by Dick Sanders
and seconded by L.F.Sinsheimer that the petition be granted. Carried.
The report of the Como of Finance and Revenue was that the petition of H.L.Xemper and
F.H.Throop in re double assessment on lots 3and 4 in Block 49 amounting to $10.15 was
correctly stated. It was moved by Dick Sanders and seconded by L.F.Sinsheimer that the petition
be granted. Carried.
The report of the Com.of Finance and Revenue was that the petition of J.J.Long
in re cancellation of Tax Sale on lot 4 Block 3 Weill's Additionwas correct as presented.
It was moved by Dick Sanders and seconded by H.A.Gowman that the Clerk be instructed to
cancel said Tax Sale. Carried.
The matter of the clerical error in the School Tax assessment of E,11.Clark was
not looked into by the Com.of Finance and Revenue. A written report in the future on such
cases as double assessments and cancellation of tax sales was requested.
A. p The matter in re Gasoline Pump in front of Geo.1..Lc Cabes garage was laid over
until next meeting.
It was moved by H.A.Gowman and seconded by Dick Sanders that the petitions of
Enos and Tamo for transfer.of liquor license to Enos and Fourcade and of Joe Brovelli
�,i� for transfer of restaurant license to Tony Chiesa be granted. Carried.
V Building permit of J.W.Davidson ,lot 1 Block 69, Garage - Ylood- Cost 50.00
It was moved by L.F.Sinsheimer and seconded by H.A.Gowman thatthe permit be granted. Carried.
Application of A.F.NToe for restaurant license at 995 Higuera St.,J.P.Gnesa building.
:,loved by L.F.Sinsheimer and'seconded by Dick Sanders that the application be referred to the
Como of Public Health and Safety.
It was moved by Dick Sanders and seconded by H.A.Gowman that Ordinance No 52( New Series)
in re salary Police Judge be finally passed. Roll Call: Dick Sanders, Yes; H.A.Gowman,Yes;
House Drains and plumbing Tork connecting with Sewers was presented. It was moved by
H.A.Gowman and seconded by L.F.Sinsheimer that the Ordinance be passed to print.

The usual applications for licenses for the quarter of Jan.lst to I.arch-31st 1916,
were read seriatum. It was moved by H.A.Gowman and seconded by Dick Sanders that all the
licenses be granted except that of E.D.Hendershot nor lodging house. Carried.
Moved by L.F.Sinsheimer and seconded by ?lick Sanders to adjourn, Carried.

Payton
reported that the
tests were running high - -the average pressure 6 1/2,but that the
gas-was
very dirty....'
The tests were taken at different hours of the day. Lr. Ryder was
unable
to be present.
Como Andrews- stated that he would request I:1r.Ryder to be present
at.next-.meeting

Gas tests and the Ordinance governing the supply and condition of
gas to
the City,-be
fully explained.
