Council met in ad,;ourned session.with Mayor Stover presiding.
ROLL CALL: Present, Commissioners Dick Sanders,.H. A. Gowman, L. F. Sinsheimer,
Goo. ti. Andrews and We ICI. Stover,
Absent, None.
The purpose of the meeting was to.wind up the affairs of -the old - Council, the
retirement of Commissioners Dick Sanders and Geo. H..Andrews and the installing
of the Councilmen elect - Dr. Howard Be Kirtland and.John..Chapek.
After remarks by the retiring Councilmen and the respective members,of the
Board, It was moved by L. F. Sinsheimer and seconded by H. A. Gorman that the
thanks of the Council be extended to Lire Sanders and Mr. Andrews for their untiring
and unselfish work during their term -of office.
LIr. Sanders and Mr, Andrews then surrendered their.respective chairs to Dr.
Kirtland and Mr..: Chapek and .the Clerk was instructed to call the Roll.
Present: Commissioners Howard Be Kirtland, H. A-. Gowman, L. F. Sinsheimer, John
Chapek, We Me Stover.
Absent: none.
The Board then proceeded to..organize by electing Commissioners for the various
departments in the City.Government.
For Commissioner of Finance and Revenue, Dr. Howard Be Kirtland was nominated by
H. A. GowmEm seconded by John Chapek. Roll Call:
Ayes, H. A. Gowman, L. F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek, W. 1J. Stover.
Noes, None.
Absent None.
Dr. Kirtland having received the unanimous vote of the Council was elected Commission-
er of Finance and Revenue.
For Commissioner of Public Health and Safety, H. A. Gowman was nominated by
L. F. Sinsheimer seconded by John Chapek. Roll Call:
Ayes, Howard Be Kirtland, H. A. Gowman, L. F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek, i1. j. Stover.
Noes, None Absent, None,
H. A. Gowman having received the unanimous vote of the Council was elected Com-
missioner of Public Health'and Safety.
For Commissioner of Public works, L. F. Sinsheimer was nominated by Howard
Be Kirtland seconded by H. A. Gorman. Roll Call:
Ayes, Howard Be Kirtland, H. A. Gowman , John Chapek, W. Me Stover.
Noes, None. Absent, None,
L. F. Sinsheimer having received the unanimous dote of the Council was elected
Commissioner of Public ylorks.
For Commissioner of Supplies, John Chapek was nominated by L. F. Sinsheimer,
seconded by Howard Be Kirtland. Roll Call:

John Chapek having received the unanimous vote ofthe Council was elected Commissioner
of Supplies.
