Kirtland, claims against the City for weekly labot were - ordered paid. A letter from the C.oRSulting Engineer of the Warren Bros. Co. was read, calling attention to what he considered irregularities in the proceedings relative to the pro- posed paving of Liarsh St. The City Attorney stated that in his opinion, all proceed - ings to date were legEl. Plans and specifications._ for.the. Llarsh St. paving were presented and laid over to next meeting. A resolution was presented by Commissioner Sinsheimer relative to the construction of Storm Sewers in certain parts of the City. It was moved by L. F. Sinsheimer "that the resolution be adopted. The motion was lost for the lack of a second. The matter of an Ordinance licensing Auto Stage lines running within and without the City was left over to the neat meeting. On motion of H:. A. Gowman seconded by H. B. Kirtland the meeting adjourned. Approved this all day of %'t� 1918. Mayor . C ity/C lerk. Sinsheimer. The minutes of iiay 6th, and 13th were read. As several motions which were made and not seconded were included in the m.inutes-of Iciay 13th, •a question arose as to whether such motions should be made a part of the minutes. The minutes were laid over to the next meeting and the City Attorney requested to render an opinion relative to the same. On motion.of H. B. Oliver was referred to Commissioner Gowman on notion of H. B_. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek. The petition of.Dora 'Knudsen for transfer of lodging house license to Frank S. McDonald. was laid over to the next meeting. The report of the City Clerk for the month of April was received.and ordered filed on motion of H. B. Kirtland seconded by John Chapek. The matter of opening Kentucky Gve. was again brought up. The parties interested to furnish abstract showing ownership of propert;; and description or right of :gay. The weekly y labor bills, also a claim of "orchers Bros. in the ai.m of 4 '139.65 were ordered paid on motion of H. B. Kirtland seconded by John. Chapek.
