On motion of E.A. Gowman.seconded by N.B. Kirtland Resolution No. 102 ( New Series )
granting to L.L LIc Connell permit to operate express and.messenger service between the
Cities of San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles and intermediate points was-adopted by the
following vote :
Ayes: H.B. Kirtland, H.A. Gowman, L.F. Sinsheimer, John Chapek , W.Id. Stover.
Noes: hone. Absent: None.
The weekly labor bills were ordered paid on motion of John Chapek seconded by
H. n. Kirtland.
The Santa Maria Gas & Power Co. requested that the said Company be authorized
to install street markers on the Gas street lamps. This to be done without cost to
the City.

It was moved by H. B. Kirtland and seconded by John Chapek that the above re-
quest be granted and that the City Engineer be instructed to act in conjunction with
h the Gas Co. in re the installation of the said street markers.
It was moved by John Chapek and seconded by H. A. Govnran that the Commissioner
of Supplies be empowered to purchase one pump and one emergency pump with motor (size
to be determined by Supt of 'later 'Corks) for use at the Reservoir.
d On motion of H. A. Gowman seconded by H. B. Kirtland the meeting adjourned to
Mondays June 24th at 7:30 P. M. ROLL CALL:
