The reports of the City Collector and Police Judge . for the month of August were 4 received and ordered filed on motion of Hi. A. Gowman seconded by H. B. Kirtland. 11 A petition requesting the grading and gravelling of Chorro St. between Broad and `° Upham :;t. was received. It was moved by H. B. Kirtland and seconded by H. A. Gov;man that the petition be granted and that the Cammissioner of xublic works, John ChEp ek proceed with vnrk as soon as convenient. It was moved by H. A. Gowman and seconded by H. B.
